About Us
Welcome to the ranch! Cairn Ridge is a small, family owned business dedicated to giving personalized services to clients interested in riding lessons, birthday parties, and animal encounters! We love getting to live alongside these special creatures.
On the ranch, you may meet Drew, Olivia, Walker, and Gwen. Drew and Olivia Richardson were married in 2018 and welcomed their baby boy Walker in 2020. Olivia is a teacher and Drew is a microbiologist. Gwen, Olivia’s mom, also resides on the property and has had years of experience working with children as a substitute teacher and CASA volunteer.
Our riding instructor Olivia has over 25 years of experience with horses. She grew up riding competitively in events such as breakaway roping, barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, team roping, western pleasure, trail, horsemanship, showmanship, and equestrian polo. She has several state, national, and world titles in these events through the AQHYA. Olivia spent her college years instructing at Turning Point Ranch, a therapeutic horse program in Stillwater for students with a range of physical or intellectual disabilities. She also spent multiple summers instructing riding lessons and taking groups on trail rides at Camp War Eagle in the rolling hills of Arkansas, where she was certified as an instructor through the Certified Horsemanship Association.
We are located conveniently close to the metro - just 20 minutes outside of Edmond, just east of Arcadia. From Edmond, take Route 66 east until you see a small building on Indian Meridian Road. Turn left/north and follow the road for a little over a mile until you see our sign at the top of the hill. Our driveway is across from a double brick mailbox.
